I teach political philosophy at Sabancı University.
My research lies at the intersection of political philosophy, social epistemology and philosophy of science. I am interested in how social structures shape what we come to know and how what we know influences our opportunities for flourishing and exercising agency as free and equal citizens.
I received my DPhil in Political Theory from the University of Oxford. Before attending Oxford, I completed an MA in Political Philosophy at the University of York. And before that, I did a BA in International Relations at Koç University.
